About us

Hi, I’m Michael Brandon. I am a Christian first and foremost. I am married to Kim with 4 children here in Auckland, and 5 with my ex in Palmerston North. God is a God of the second chances. Not perfect but forgiven, not using forgiveness as an excuse to sin more. There is hope for all.

I believe in the bible as the wholly inspired word of God. I was water baptised as a teenager and have seen a number of my children being baptised. I attend First Church in Papakura Auckland. I have attended Elim South Church at Manurewa Auckland where I played the flute and piccolo in the music group, and led the men’s group. I have attended Baptist and other churches – where-ever God of the Bible is preached and there is passionate worship to God.

I really feel God’s call of the great commission, his last words on earth where he said “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. ” Matthew 28:19 NIV

I feel the pain of seeing that the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few.

I feel the joy of the angels when they see one person believe in Christ for the first time.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  – Romans 10:14 NIV

Rather than only sit on the pews and hear yet another sermon, I would rather take on board the words that faith without action is nothing, and talk to others about Christ. I love talking about Jesus – sometimes it is sowing seeds, other times watering when others have sowed, other times harvesting. Blessed is the feet of them that bring the good news.

Many times in my day job, God gives the opportunity for me to talk about him. I have been  overseas talking to others about him. Friends and neighbours… But we are busy, and it is good to set aside time to specifically talk about the reason for our beliefs. Talking in the markets is a fantastic opportunity, as people are there not only for trading, but for leisure. People in general have time to be able to talk and by having an official stall, people can give permission or not for us to talk with them about what we are “selling”.

May God bless you.
